Marc A. Ronert, M.D, Ph.D., is a European Board Certified Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeon as well as a Fellow of the European Board of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons. A graduate of the prestigious Heinrich Heine University School of Medicine, Dr. Ronert has received medical training and education both abroad and in the United States.

Dr. Ronert is the director of Image Skincare, an evidence-based clinical skin care company, providing professional skincare products and effective skincare solutions. Dr Marc is a leader in skincare innovation, conducting clinical research on revolutionary ingredients in search of new formulations to advance the technology of skincare. He has appeared as a spotlight speaker at the annual meeting of the Association of German Plastic Surgeons, International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the Society of German Gynecologists and the World Conference of Plastic Surgery.

As a member of both the Plastic Surgery and Burn Surgery teams at Shriners Hospitals for Children — Northern California, Pirko Maguina, M.D., provides specialized plastic and reconstructive surgery to children afflicted with burn injuries and pediatric plastic surgery problems from any cause.

A native of Germany, Dr. Maguina is fluent in three languages – German, Spanish and English – and brings a variety of international experiences to his profession. After living in Europe, Asia, South, Central and North America, he studied medicine in Lima, Peru before completing his residency training and fellowships in the United States. He joined the medical team at the Northern California Shriners Hospital in 2008.

Dr. Maguina is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Burn Association, and the American Society of Maxillofacial Surgery, the Peruvian-American Medical Society and most recently of the Greater Sacramento Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons.
